This position offers the opportunity to be a part of an exciting new business unit within Texcan POSITION SUMMARY: As a Sales Representative in MPG your main responsibilities are to provide our customers with information on products and services and develop relationships with key clients to drive sales growth within identified industrial market segments. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: To research and develop all active projects clients throughout the Canadian and International market place through an extensive inside sales communication program that will cultivate a detailed synopsis of clients project activities, RFQs, timelines, and individual client responsibilities. The development of professional sales and long-term relationships with these major projects clients. This would involve Sales and Product presentations. Focusing (primarily) on the engineering, petrochemical, mining, hydro generation, and large industrial & commercial contractors involved in major projects. To uncover and secure all potential inquiries (RFQs) from this projects group of clients, and to establish Texcan as their "Supplier of Choice". Requirements: Superb customer inside sales ability (Excellent telephone skills) Experienced Customer Communication skills (verbal, written and presentations) Selling / Servicing major projects clients Development of long-term client relationships An extremely high professional approach to business Professional business appearance Well-organized and extremely adept to detail Technically proficient to quickly learn and understand product Ability to develop Quotations & project bid packaging / pricing / presentations Execution of effective outside calls / travel (when necessary) Proficient in Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat programs.
